Amadeus varsity names Prof. Ndimele Pro-Chancellor, other principal officers

Amadeus University has announced the appointment of Prof. Ihuoma Roseline Ndimele as its inaugural Pro-Chancellor and Chair of the Governing Council.

The university, located in Amizi, Ikwuano LGA, Abia State, has also appointed Prof. Samuel Nzotta as Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Ernest Onuoha as Registrar, Dr. Ngozi Ukachi as University Librarian, and Mr. Augustine Ugorji as Bursar.

In a statement, the appointments came ahead of the university’s launch in September 2024, following a successful resource verification by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the approval of 19 degree programs under four faculties.

Prof. Ndimele, a renowned scholar and administrator, brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served as Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies at Abia State University and Commissioner in the Abia State Government.
